Graffiti Uniting the World : Anti-War Protest
Hello folks, more and more people around the world are continuing to express their negative attitudes towards Putin's bloody war in Ukraine. Where it is impossible to fight with weapons, people gather in solidarity, are generous to refugees, boycott Russian products that generate funds for war or create various works of art. We are interested in street art, which is why we also created this story.

A mural titled Dress Me Up for Battle by street artist Bandit in Los Angeles in March 2022. Bandit, who normally focuses on Native American issues, detailed how this piece is a spinoff of the Emanuel Leutze painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware River with the Continental Army in 1776. As he states on his Instagram page: "I enjoy this new version better. We stand with Ukraine."

This mural of Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared on a leafy Belgrade street corner in early March, and was later defaced with painted blood and sunglasses. The political artwork is one of several examples of pro-Russian graffiti appearing, then being tampered with, in Belgrade amid the invasion of Ukraine.
